Where is the Best Bakery in Seattle, Washington?
Everytime I’m at Pike Place either by myself enjoying the market or with friends who are out of town, i must stop by this bakery and pick up a pastry and cup of coffee. The perfect way to stop in the midst of a busy day, sit, relax, enjoy good eats & treats and then be on my way again. The experience is even better if you bring a friend to share with 🙂
Even though we arrived around 10:30 am, the pastries were still great. They fresh bake them on site, so the earlier the better. I had a raspberry muffin that was great, but I imagine it was heavenly around 7:45am when the rasprberries were still warm :). The coffee is Cafe Vita which is definitely par for the course. Great little morning pitstop. I will return.Pros + Quick, Fresh, Selection
We got there at 11 am and counter was open. Able to talk to workers…very nice and casual. Lots of recommendations. I had a simple grilled cheese and their veggie black bean soup with a hard roll. Wonderful. Friend had BLT and Chowder..also good. Wish we had paid as soon as we got the food because the place filled up FAST!!! Lots of regulars which is a good sign. I am a food snob and will go again.Pros + Service, foodCons – dingy but nice character
This is by far the best donut in seattle. The old fashioned are amazing!! The vibe here is just the right combination of hipster cool and childhood memories. The coffee is perfect and the variety of sweet choices will not disappoint. You can get these at Starbucks, but it is so much better to go to the source! Pros + old fashioneds better than you remember them
