MY WAITPERSON WAS TERRIFIC. SHE MADE ME FEEL TOTALLY COMFORTABLE AND WELCOME IMMEDIATELY, IN ADDITION TO PROVIDING TERRIFIC ADVISE ON THE MENU. THE SERVICE TEAM WAS EXCEEDINGLY ATTENTIVE. LUVED THE LAMB SANDWICH AT LUNCH — AND THE DESSERT, CARMELIZED RICOTTA BANANA TART WAS TASTY WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE HOCKEY PUCK FLAVORLESS BANANA ICE CREAM….MINOR MIS-STEP. A life long New Yorker, I had my fair share of catered food. Whether it be a social or professional function, it’s pretty ho-hum if you know what I mean. That is until, a dear friend of mine introduced me to Butterfield. Faced with an upcoming family gathering, I decide to give them a call. I spoke with a young lady, her name was Joelle. I shared with her my vison for the event and she was quickly on my page. I liked that she just didn’t run through the menu but actually took the time to learn about the kind of occasion I was planning and what I hoped to achieve. She made some helpful suggestions and made a concerted effort to work within my budget. I thought that was a good sign. With the exception of my building’s tempermental elevator, there were no other anxious moments. The presentation of the food dazzle the eye but more importantly the food lived up to its appeal. The quality, the taste and the freshness could easliy rival a high end restaurant. The stuffed loin of pork quickly
I used tompkins bakery for my wedding after searching for a reasonably priced wedding cake that also tasted good and looked good. my cake was spectacular, tasted amazing, and was not over priced. The selection of flavors was impressive and their flowers looked so real people actually touched them, not believing they were sugar. My sister then used them for her wedding, and her cake was even more beautiful than mine. We also have ordered cupcakes from them on special occasions, and it’s all delicious. plus, matthew is so nice and helpful.

From the extravagant decor on the outside to the warm and elegant interior, you can’t help but to feel as if your standing in a European bakery in the middle of Italy! The service is top notch and there’s never a long wait. Their Boston Cream Pie is out of this world! However, Conti’s doesn’t just make cream pies. They make a variety of pastries and cookies that will put great grandma’s recipes to shame. Believe me, if you think you’re going to walk in and just get a pound of cookies, you end up walking out with a whole lot more!
