Where is the Best Bakery in Chicago, Illinois?
I have lived on the North side all of my life and now have been on the South side for the past five years. This bakery KICKS BUTT! Everything I have ever ordered from there has been fresh, and very tasty. Our orders have always been on time as promised and never forgotten. Their consistency is excellent. The fresh strawberry/cheese coffee cake is EXCELLENT! Their poundcake is of old world recipe excellence. You can tell these recipes have been handed down for generations. Truly worth the ride if you live on the North side and definitely the best around Chicago!

I never understood why one w
I like their cookies… perfect size, not too Store-bought sweet, and interestig flavors. Their cake… too buttery for me. Literally, the frosting is like sinking your teeth into a stick of butter. I am more of a sweet lady myself. The owner, though, is so nice and has beautiful and scrumptious lunches. It is kid friendly and has outdoor seating. It;s also across the street from Ravenswood school so eat there and then go to their playground… or down the street to Chase Park!
