Where is the Best Bakery in Boston, Massachusetts?
Ok. So I just wrote that this place is small and at it often has long lines. That should be a sign that it’s good, and it is! I grew up in Brookline, practically within a 5 minute walk of Clear Flour Bread and I wish this place was around 20 years ago. It would have forced me to go to Paris that much sooner. The smells and sights are all there. The locals and restaurateurs alike love Clear Flour Bread for its dedication to its craft. They truely do make fresh baguettes to foccacia to croissants chocolate, plain.. you name it. They ran out often and on the last visit I settled on pain aux raisins and a hot cup of coffee. It’s a touch hard to find, (good) and claustrophobic (bad).. but worth the wait. Pros + Great bakery still going strongCons – Small and long lines
I discovered this bakery a few weeks ago as I was going around bakeries looking to see if someone could make a cake for a baby shower the way I wanted it.. I talked to Michael who is the cake decorator who listened to what type of cake i wanted and the cake he made was simply AWESOME! everyone at the baby shower loved the cake – it was beautiful ! Thanks Michael! I will definitely be coming back again 🙂 Pros + Reasonable price, Great service, Friendly staff
