Where is the Best Bakery in Atlanta, Georgia?

This place is one reason I miss living in Buckhead. The Po Boy sandwiches are very good, although they can be dry sometimes. Make sure to grab a mustard packet or horseradish i the dining area. The seating area is okay for lunch, but nothing special. I’d recommend picking up lunch and heading to a local park. The baked goods are all excellent. My personal favorite is the Mediterranean cookie – I wish I had the recipe for that one. The chocolate eclairs and macaroons are also outstanding. Their thanksgiving catering is just okay – in my opinion Fresh Market has better dressing and sides.I hope they’re around forever.Pros + great food, lots of tempting choicesCons – not enough parking – it gets ridiculous around lunchtime

I am from the North East, and grew up with wonderful baked goods. we do not have as many bakeries around like I was used to.The Little European Bakery is amazing. New owners Johnny and Ellie are wonderful people who produce an excellent product. I ate way to many cookies, and could eat an entire loaf of their bread in one sitting. These folks are patient and spend as much time needed with their customers describing their products and sampling all of the treats.I almost felt like being back in New York, most of the customers were actually European! What a Delight! If you have not been in a while, come check it out. Johnny and Ellie have just taken over, and have very quickly turned this place around, even learning from the original owners of the bakery, with astounding results.I love it and I will be back!Pros + New Owners!

Most of us born before 1980 may have fond memories of our grandmothers and their made from scratch cakes. Every time I bite into a Piece of Cake delectable—NOSTALGIC. Almost every year for almost ten years I would by either a carrot cake or a red velvet cake and it’s like tasting it for the first time with each bite. Thank you Piece of Cake for the memories and your existence. My condolences to those of you that didn’t have a grandmother that baked a cake from scratch or do not have a Piece of Cake locally.Pros + Two Thumbs Up
