Where is the Best Baby Store in Austin, Texas?
I am due to have a little girl in 3 months and I am looking for a Ju Ju Be diaper bag. I picked one out online and wanted to see it in person and this store supposedly carries this brand. The parking here was awful, but the store was really cute and didn’t seem dirty. I found a bag that I thought was the one I wanted, but wasn’t sure so I took it up to the two women at a desk – neither would acknowledge me. Finally I asked the girl looking down at papers if she knew the name of the bag. She finally looked up and told me it was on the tag and grabbed it and looked at one of their catch phrases and told me that that was the name (It was not). More research online proved that it was the bag I was looking for and the “sales” person just didn’t want to bother with me. So I would have bought a bag from them, instead I will buy online or at a friendlier baby store in Austin. Pros + Cute, unique baby items and maternity wearCons – Parking, customer service, pricey
We went into Bella-Mi killing time while waiting for Kerbey Lane Cafe, and couldn’t have been more impressed. The owners were super friendly and helpful, the clothes and toys and art were high quality, and the design was very aesthetically pleasing. We would definitely go back next time we are in Austin.Pros + quality kids linesCons – a little pricy
Let me say, I LOVE this boutique. I was very excited that there was finally a boutiue close by. I have been there many many times and my infant daughter has several of their outfits, toys and accessories. When other reviewers say that Baby Bugaloo is pricey, I really disagree. Of course, they will not be chain store prices… but they are very reasonable as far as boutiques go and half the prices of other boutiques here in Austin (i.e. Oh Baby). Most boutiques have too much of other items and not clothing and Im glad that Baby Bugaloo has more clothing to choose from so I dont have to order it from different websites to get what I want! I dont think that the prices are NOT that much more than websites either. I search for items online frequently and, for example, was looking for an awesome tutu and matching top for my daughter’s one year birthday. The original seller’s website sold it only for $2 cheaper, so after shipping I would’ve paid more! AND it ws the cutest I could find anywehe
I spent several days driving to most of the baby boutiques in Austin (over a dozen) and this was by far the best all around shop. I saw many of the same items from shop to shop, but this one offered the widest selection at the lowest prices. The layout of the store flowed with ease to see everything and was very inviting. The staff was friendly, but not overbearing. I was so excited to find this store. I will be a loyal customer and urge everyone to check it out. You too can have all of the cutest baby things at reasonable prices, in an inviting atmosphere, with a helpful staff.Pros + Atmosphere, cute selection, best prices
