Where is the Best Auto Mechanic in Seattle, Washington?
SO IMPRESSED!! As a young girl who doesn’t know any mechanical terms I was a little worried when I was describing my problem, “It’s kinda of doing this lurching thing…oh and I think the fluids might be low…oh you know, all of them up there.”Matt’s Auto ran a diagnostic on my car and when they were looking up the meaning of the code they discovered Toyota had issued an extended warranty for my make and model with this problem. Seems that there was a faulty computer component that would have cost me a cool $1000 but now Toyota’s fixing it for free!Pros + HONEST, Helpful and FriendlyCons – If I had to pick – took a few days to get in.
I don’t usually write feedback for services rendered, but I found myself in a peculiar situation having traveled from Los Angeles to Seattle for a family reunion. My car starting acting up once I reached my destination in Bothell, Washington. My cousin strongly recommended Gordon’s Auto Clinic as the place in town to take my auto in for a complete analisis. I was hesitant at first because the only place I had had my car service was the dealer here in Los Angeles. But, within a an hour, while I waited, Gordon’s Auto Clinic not only pin pointed the particular problem that was wrong with my car, but also fixed it at a low cost. I am happy to write this review and strongly recommend this auto shop as I found the staff to be honest and reliable. Pros + Great customer service with friendly staff, and quick repair
Went to Larry’s early last year for the first time. I was a little leery at first because I was bringing in a new 2006 S-40. I wanted a place that specialized in Volvo’s, but wasn’t an expensive dealership. I love finding hole-in-the-wall businesses that offer great service and Larry’s seems to be one of those places. I’ve been there three times now, so I think I can acurately review them. After finding Larry’s on Citysearch I tried them at my 15000 mile service. I waited in the small waiting area reading magazines. I would recommend bringing something to read, or a laptop/dvd player. For the active types Beacon Ave has a strip of park that you could run or walk. Don’t know about the crime in the area, but it didn’t seem too bad mid-week when everyone is at work or school. Larry’s got it done pretty quickly for me and didn’t seem to have any problems with my new car. When it came time to pay the bill I was like, “Whoa, is that all?” My wife drives a 2000 Mercedes that cost us more th
I just found myself recommending Apex in another forum, and linking to this site, and realized I should put my recommendation here as well! The first time I was here I was feeling unsure because its not a great part of town, and I had a little trouble understanding what they were saying due to language barriers> Once I got my car back I was completely impressed. They gave me a printout with photos of the work as they had done it (which acted as proof of work actually being performed), as well as gave me follow up information and tips on other things going on with the car with absolutely no hard upsales. They were also proactive in giving me tips and information on things I could do on my own, again, no sales, just friendly, genuine advice. After that I called a few times with questions they were more then happy to answer, and even brought the car back a couple times (per their request to see it) and they looked under the hood/did minor adjustments without even a thought of charging, a
Northwest Automotive scores FIVE STARS for the quality of their work, honesty, and professionalism in their industry. That is a BOLD STATEMENT. Please take a moment and let me PROVE IT.What make them stand out in a positive manner is their approach automotive difficulties, one of a Doctor / Patient relationship. They believe that is it more important to tell you an uncomfortable truth that might be unpleasant to hear now, but WILL SAVE YOU HUNDREDS IF NOT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS and KEEP YOU SAFE ON THE ROAD later. This view is a bit more holistic and in depth, rather than the fast food mentality of solve the cosmetic problem and hope for the best that you will find in other shops.Case in point- My windshield wiper stopped working. I called Northwest Automotive (I have their number saved in my phone for just such an emergency) and asked when I could bring it in. Luckily they had an opening the next morning and I dropped it off first thing. The Manager called me before noon the same d
