Where is the Best Auto Mechanic in Seattle, Washington?

The guys working at this shop are very friendly and trustworthy with my car. I’m a new customer recommended by a friend and I couldn’t be happier. Everytime I’ve been to tayag’s they seem to get me right in and take care of me pretty quick. The prices are pretty comparable and extremely competitive to other shops of its kind. If you go here I promise you will not be disappointed. I guess they have been there for years and I can see why. Tayag’s keep up the great work. Nat

This is my first effort at writing a review, but I felt this was an important one to write. My ’94 Stealth decided to burst the clutch slave cylinder in the middle of an intersection a couple of weeks ago. I did not have a mechanic for the car yet, as I had purchased it within the past year. I read the info on the Wilson Bros. web site and it looked good. I appreciate that they are a local business, and I could walk and pick up my car if needed. Also, I figured how could I go wrong if they guaranty their work for a year! So, I was very happy to hear when I called, that they knew how to work on the mixture of Dodge/Mitsubishi – it made my day! The guys talked me through replacing just the slave and the benefits of doing both the master and the slave. I felt NO pressure to spend spend spend : ) Their estimate and actual were very close in total, and was what I felt was very reasonable for the work done. I also know that neither I, nor my knowledgeable about cars friend could ha

I recently had my prized 10th Anniversary Cobra die. The engine seized and had to be replaced. I took my car to Motorplex for an assessment. They towed the car on one of their new flat bed wreckers, gave me a written estimate and were in constant communication. During the course of the work, it was discovered that when removing the engine the flywheel and clutch needed to be replaced. I was told immediately, given my options and recommendations. At no time was there ever a sales pitch, or pressure. It was simply, here is what is needed, these are your options and this is what we recommend. The car works great. They took their time, got it right the first time and I couldnt be happier. I cant say enough good things about the people at Motorplex. They took excellent care of me as a customer and did a fantastic job fixing my car.-David2003 10th Anniversary Ford CobraPros + Constant communication, up front prices great workCons – none

Very good work, but significantly more expensive than a cheaper place such as Cheap Tires and Brakes in the U. For example; for a couple of minor parts and a 40K service, the total was $1,200.00. (This included a charge of almost $200 just to run the diagnostic and figure out what was wrong [most places are about $90] as well as more than $650 in labor. The 40K service was comprable to the VW dealership (which is also high). The upside is that they are thorough and do the job right. Saddly, this is more than I can say for many other places I’ve been to. Whats more, they make an effort at calling you every time they find something new, and all of the repairs were legitimate. I DO think they overcharge for their labor, but again, they are otherwise good mechanics and trustworthy. This is a good place to go for something complicated or difficult, or if your car is not easy to work on. (All newer cars, basically). This is DEFINITELY a good place to go if cost is NOT an issue. The
