Where is the Best Auto Mechanic in San Antonio, Texas?
I was refered by a friend who told me these people would replace my bad CV Axle for only $99.00. I drive a Lexus ES300, so I figured they would charge more for a Lexus. I was wrong. They replaced the whole axle in about 3 hours and the total bill (including tax) was only $99.00. They will be my first call the next car repair I need.Pros + Lowest price in town to install a CV axle !Cons – Didn’t have any negatives.
I have taken a few of my cars there for several different reasons. The first time I used them was for a front end alignment, it could not be done on my car due to worn parts. They did not charge me a penny for the work and analysis that they did do. After I fixed the parts that were worn they did the alignment and the price was VERY reasonable. I took my sons car and found out that it has a broken timing belt. He cannot afford the expense of having a shop fix it so he is going to attempt to do it himself. I explained this to them and they were very understanding and put the car back together and again did not charge me. Of course they are in business to make money so they do a complete inspection of your vehicle while they have it and will tell you if they notice anything else needs to be fixed or replaced. Friendly, attentive staff. They try to make sure that things are done right. They are honest in their transactions and I have checked their prices against other shops and they are always in line. Never the highest. One time, my car was damaged by a sub-contracted transmission shop. E.C. Quality Car Car made sure that the damage was repaired to my satisfaction at no cost to me and without any hassle whatsoever. On another occasion a repair was made and about 3 weeks later the problem occurred again. This time, it was another item that went bad, not the original repair which they had thought cured the problem. No computer codes were given for the first problem. and none showed this time either. they definitely found the problem and notified me that they would not charge labor for the new, and different repair, if I would pay the price for the part.
