Where is the Best Auto Mechanic in Portland, Oregon?
First, this person is not a customers of ours and never has been a customer. We purchased this vehicle from her brother who didn’t switch the title to his name before selling it to me. I never spoke to her before the saturday that she called me, she stared the converstion off with agressive language demanding money. At that time I told her that I didn’t konw her but she could call my shop monday morning to get to the bottom of the problem. She never called to follow up. I was never rude just perfesional in handling the matter. We have been in buisness for over 25 years, and have always tried to handle our affairs in a professional manner.
I am very grateful to Bob, and the amazing technician Mike, who fixed my fuel pump. Here’s how it went.**1. Frustrating experience with other mechanic.**2. Called SA for an estimate. SA was friendly, sympathetic, and straightforward.**3. Towed car to SA- arrived late. SA still took us in, still cheerful, honest.**4. Called SA 47 times the next day to confirm quoted price, check on car, etc. Very professional on the phone, very patient, and honest with labor/parts pricing.**5. Picked car up within 24 hours of dropping it off. Staff acknowledged me by name, explained all repairs, did NOT charge me for extra labor because it had not been part of the agreed-upon price.**6. Drove car home. I was so impressed with SA that I went straight to my computer to write my first-ever online review.I really will go back to SA when the next thing breaks on my car. My experience was positive, and I will recommend this business to anyone who values integrity (seemingly scarce among other mechanics
