I always feel frustrated when taking my car in for service because you never can tell when you might be getting scammed. Every experience I have had with Parkside has been just the opposite. The owner always takes the time to explain problems with the car – what’s wrong, what the solution is and what your options are. I feel like I am in good hands at Parkside which is a lot more than I can say for about 99% of the other places I have taken my car.Pros + through, trustworthy, customer oriented serviceCons – must leave for 1 or more days, no waiting area
I’ve needed auto repairs three times in the last year for an older car. Every time I’ve gone to see Mark he’s always given me an up front quote and has shown me exactly what he’s needed to do. Afterward, he’s always shown me the results with a test drive on the local roads. He will promptly answer any concerns afterward as well. Manny is also always there doing great work.Pros + Hard working, Honest, Dependable, TimelyCons – No waiting area in the shop, but Flushing is right there
This is the best auto repair place I’ve ever been to. The people there are completely honest. Often they will give discounts on expensive repairs. They do an amazing job on your car. They even have a room you can wait and watch TV while they repair your car.One thing to be careful of. DO NOT PULL INTO THEIR DRIVEWAY!!!! You park outside, they will come to find out what is wrong with your car, and test drive it when needed. Inside they have a ton of bays and workers.PROS: Outstanding workmanshipCONS: Under the el train, so it is often loud
Tom’s corner has got to be the #1 auto repair shop in the world!!! this place is awesome. when you pick up your car after it has been worked on, you dont feel like you have been ripped off. you walk out of Tom’s office confident and at east because you know he fixed the car!!! he can basically do any kind of mechanical work needed!!! Tom’s corner is honest and reliable. the service is incredible!!!!!!! Pros + THE BEST AUTO REPAIR SHOP EVER!!Cons – NONE!
