Where is the Best Auto Mechanic in Detroit, Michigan?
I’ve taken my car to Tri Action a few times now, and every time I do, I’m completely sure that I have been dealt with fairly. The repairs and customer service are excellent. I’ve found places that are a bit cheaper, but none that are better at getting my car back on the road ASAP. This is the best oil change that I’ve visited. I was really impressed that they had so many oil brands to choose from…not limited to just Pennzoil or Valvoline. They did my oil change, changed my head light bulb and replaced my serpentine belt all from the comfort of my car. Drove in and out, no hassle, and good prices. Definitely recommend to anyone new to the area. Pros + Really good mechanic on staff 7 days a week
Words can’t describe how good this place is. They fixed my truck quickly, properly and at an extremely low cost. They also fixed two other problems that I have previously taken my truck to the Chevy dealer for three times with no luck. They did this at no cost and mentioned that they found these problems during their road test and just fixed them as a courtesy since they did not require any great deal of time/parts. Two mechanics worked on my car at the same time, so the repairs were completed very quickly and properly—something I never got at the new car dealership which seemed to take forever to do any repair. By the way, these mechanics also worked at a new car dealership before they went into business for themselves, so they know their stuff. They also take the time to explain the repair procedures & costs to you so that there are no surprises. I’m very glad that my son told me about this place. My car needed a new belt and track tensioner. I called on a Saturday to get quotes from several repair shops. Westland Car Care??????s estimate was within the range of other estimates and I decided to have my car towed there (35 miles away) because my family and I have used them for oil changes in the past so I trusted their work. During the call, I was asked for the Make/Model/Year and engine size of my car and was quoted the cost of labor and parts around $205. When I asked him if this estimate included everything for the repair he said ‘yes’. Since this was on a Saturday, I asked if I should make an appointment for Monday and he said that wasn’t necessary.Monday came; my car was towed with me following (the towing company’s policy). I dropped off the keys and returned home (2 hours round trip). Later, I received a call from the manager, he said that I needed a new belt and track tensioner – which I already knew – and said that the total for this repair was $320. What?! I questione
