Where is the Best Auto Mechanic in Atlanta, Georgia?
My experience at the Killian Hill Service Center has not been great, to say the least. First, I left my car to be looked at on Sunday evening and didn’t receive a single call until Tuesday morning to inform me of the diagnosis. I was told that the parts needed to fix the car would cost $150.00 but with the labor charges added, my final total would be $848.00! That is almost $700.00 in labor costs! I called around to other service centers which all gave me quotes much lower. So I called the Killian Hill Service Center back and arranged for my car to be left out in front of the store with key in it. But when I arrived to pick up my car and assistance to help me transport my car, I found the store closed for the evening and my vehicle locked inside the fenced service yard. I would not recommend this service center to anyone after my experience! Pros + Experienced and Knowledgable StaffCons – Poor customer service, labor costs too high
Highly Recommended. I recently had them do the 30,000 mile service on my Mercedes and they did a very thorough job, taking care of everything large and small for one flat fee. They also told me about various other items that will eventually need doing, but there was no sales pressure. I very much appreciated Matt (Revolution’s owner) taking the time to fully explain the various potential problem areas to me.They do not have loaner cars, but they arranged (and paid for) a rental from the nearby Enterprise rental office for me. I wouldn’t expect them to do this if all I had done was an oil change, but I assume this is how they take care of customers with larger jobs that will take all day or longer. This was an excellent car care experience – they’ll be seeing me and my car again. Pros + Compeitive pricing, quality serviceCons – None
My Toyota is old and had a lot of miles on it when I bought it. So, after a year or two of bringing it to whoever was closest, I needed to get it checked out by someone who really knew what they were doing. I brought my car to ToyoTechs. I asked them to check it out and let me know what it needed. (I normally hate doing that b/c I’m afraid that someone will charge me for unnecessary repairs.) Before performing any work the owner called me back and went through a detailed explanation of what needed to be done and why. Needless to say, the car is running just fine and it is nearing 180,000 miles now. They have been recognized by AAA and the others for excellent service. (Check out their website. It lists all the organizations that have recognized them.) That is why I initially tried them. Now, I will be a returning customer because of their good service. Somehow it comforts me to take my car to someone who takes pride in their work and who specializes in the make of my car, T
