Where is the Best Auto Dealer in Portland, Oregon?

Having purchased a few cars in my years, I must say that working with this dealership has been “interesting”. I will say that I did leave with a truck that I very much enjoy. However, the sales department has much work to be done to raise to the level of mediocrity. Promises to call to follow up on satisfaction of sale were never addressed. “Lumping” together items that ended up covering costs was not recognized until the next day as I went over the paperwork in more detail. Purchasing a used truck with 34k miles meant that only 2k miles are left on manufacturers warranty. With this I requested quote for 100k warranty. This ended up being “packaged” with the deal. Ended up paying full price for warranty on car that already has 34k miles I didn’t drive. Seems to me that cost should have been 64% of the total cost. Sales quoted 70k warranty to make it 100k in mileage for FI guy said this was “lost in translation”. Sales department quoted price for clear covering bra for front

I bought my first car from Vancouver Ford about a year and a half ago. After much research, I truly felt ready to go in and buy the car on my own. Well, I did buy it on my own … and now I am paying for it–on my own. They talked to me in circles and before I even knew it–I was trading in my car (I had not even cleaned it out!) and driving off of the lot. I truly believe that if I had not gone in on my own (even as prepared as I was)–I would have cut my monthly payment in half.

worth your time. Rasmussen is a classy yet friendly BMW dealership that clearly outshines all of the others in Portland. Their staff is friendly and willing to help and always ready to make time to suit your needs both before and after your purchase. They have a low pressure sales methodology which clearly outlines pricing early in the decision making process. Their repair service is BMW priced, but outstanding nonetheless.

I took my Honda Civic here today for an oil change. I normally take it somewhere else but thought since a coupon came in the mail and I need…

We purchased a Santa Fe 7 months ago from Thomason Hyundai and had a painless buying experience. Our salesperson, Chris Teshera, was not pushy at all. As a matter of fact, my husband and I test drove the Santa Fe 3 different times over a 1 month period before deciding to purchase it and Chris never once made us feel like we were wasting his time. The only aspect of the experience that was a little frustrating was waiting for the car to be delivered to us from the maintenance people. I think we ended up waiting for our car for close to two hours before we could finally go home. Overall though I give the dealership high marks.
