Where is the Best Auto Body Repair in Portland, Oregon?
I have used Nu-Way as the exclusive repair center for all of my body and paint work for over 15 years. During that time they have serviced: Infiniy; BMW; Porsche; Volkswagen; Volvo as well as several other brands. Their work is without question of the the very highest standard. They operate from a framework of ethics and expertise that is virtually impossible to duplicate in today’s world. For me the highest testament to this standard is that I have entrusted them to do work on my 1986 Factory Turbo Look Porsche 911 that is one of 9 imported into the United States during that year. I would recomend them to anyone who seeks perfection at a fair price.Pros + Professional, Perfectionists, EthicalCons – None, None, None
I took my car in very scared about what was wrong with it and how much it was going to cost me. The lady there is very friendly and personable. She called me a couple of times throughout the day to keep me up on the findings and made an effort to remember and use my name in conversation, she also took the time to really explain to me what was going on with my car. I walked out of there feeling good, relieved and with far more money in my pocket than I anticipated. If you need a good mechanic, I would recommend this one. Pros + Reasonably priced, friendly staffCons – None
Esquire is very good at what they do and they seem to care a lot about customer service (so much so that they practically stalk you afterwards to get feedback–they need to mellow out with that!). I wish they were a little more affordable and that their drop-off/pick-up hours were a bit more convenient (but that is common unless you take your car to a dealership to be repaired). Nice people. It can take them a while to get to your car, which is difficult if you need it. Almost all our experiences have been good, though, so we’ll probably keep going back unless someone introduces us to a good VW mechanic that is faster and cheaper.Pros + They know what they are doing.Cons – You have to wait and pay a premium for their expertise.
What a stand up repair shop! In an era when most are concerned with cutting corners and making the biggest profit with the littlest effort, it is refreshing to see a company adhere to good morals and integrity. Please allow me to explain. Just recently I had taken my car into Meineke to have a tune up, oil change and replace an AC belt. A couple days later, the belt that was replaced snapped, throwing off my alternator belt simultaneously and leaving me and my car stranded. To make a long story short, Meineke attempted to cover their insufficient mechanical skills by saying the problems was not the belt but a deeper issue within my car. Without my authorizing it, Meineke had stripped apart half my engine and left it in pieces when I said I didn?t want them to repair it. In talking with those at Meineke, I have never been treated so poorly and had to deal with so much nonsense, I will be reporting them for potential fraud and at the very least incompetence.
