They recently changed their menu and added a lot of different tasty items. They are of course in line with all of the other McMenamins pubs. Decent pub fare. The servers are always awesome.

McMenamins always has good food and a fun location. The service can be slow at times but they are friendly and helpful. The house salad is…

Since the original tavern burned down, the Mcmenamins have done an excellent job rebuilding. I think it looks even better than before. Drinks are pricey and measured out, the beer is the normal Mcmenamins brew. It’s a cool spot and the pool table is great if there’s no one playing. (rented by the hour) Pros + Hidden

I grew up on the east coast. In the first 19 years of my life there, I ate a LOT of pizza. I’ve had pizza all over new york, new jersey, and philly. (jersey is the best, I swear!) So I feel I can give some decent perspective when it comes to the quality and authenticity of a good slice of pizza. Mississippi pizza has good, traditional, east coast style pizza. I’ve eaten pizza at plenty of places here in town, and have had plenty of good slices, but mississippi pizza reminds me the most of home. I really enjoy the atmosphere there as well. It’s divided into 3 areas; the front is a lot like a traditional east coast pizza joint, pretty basic. This flows into a more cozy area with an area for live music. The lounge in the back is my favorite though, and has a full bar.Pros + good traditional pizza, nice atmosphere.Cons – the wait on busier nights

i’ve been going to this venue as its gone through the years & different managements…. only because i really want to see the bands that play here, not because its a great venue. the sound quality is never great. the bathrooms are only half-finished even after all this time. it still looks thrown together haphazardly as a venue. whoever mans the house sound has never learned how to do so correctly; the time it takes for a set change between bands is rediculous. the loveland throws four to six bands on the same bill when no one gives a damn about the crappy local openers.. and with long set changes, no one wants to wait til 1am for the headliners to come on. its disappointing that most people start to leave by then. the doorstaff have been very rude in my experience…. after checking with several different sources before showing up with just enough cash for a ticket (my mistake), i show up at the door to find out its even more to get in than i expected. this has happened to me on more
