Where is the Best All-Ages Club in Houston, Texas?
The best thing about ComedySportz Houston is how they manage to be hilarious without being crude! I can take my 3 year old neice and my 64 year old grandpa, and know for sure that none of us are going to be offended. The service is great too, with cheap drinks and snacks and incredibly clean bathrooms. Thanks for a great Friday night, ComedySportz!!Pros + Clean humor and a clean club, hilarious family funCons – I can’t think of a single thing!
I have been to The Engine Room many times, but the best show had to be the GlassJaw/Poison the Well show last spring. The times I have been there they have always had great clear sound and you can really feel the band(one of the few places that you can still stage-dive)!!!!!!! The Engine Room ROCKS!!! P.S. Write a review and rate the venue! Stop telling us about the crappy bands you think should play there. Minderbinder, who? Weak!I’m out!Pros + Upclose and Personal, Sound, InexpensiveCons – A/C, Parking
“GRIFF’S!! GRIFF’S!! GRIFF’S!!” By the end of the night, my friends and I were chanting it. Been there twice during the summer, food is cheap and great. Wings, phillies, fries and rings all have my vote, especially with the gift certificate coupons you can find at a site that rhymes with westaurant dot com. Actually, the staff recognized us on our 2nd visit, and they were having pizza for some regulars and offered us some.My brother went there for trivia recently and came in second place. Apparently he got owned by some law professors. Awesome; any place that can offer up folk who can take down my genius of a brother is deserving of a lot of love.Good corn hole; can’t wait to try it out for horns away games next football season and for this bloody mary bar that this site speaks of.Pros + Sweet collection of beer cans and old dusty sports flagsCons – None, unless you consider beers served in plastic cups a con
Putting down this place for being a hell-hole is pointless. Just look at the list of groups that have played here. From Manson to Megadeth, they’ve had some of the hardest and craziest acts around. If you expect polished floors and screwdrivers, then you’re in for a suprise. If you’re expecting a bad-ass show with plenty of room to run around, then this is the place for you.Pros + Large area, Large parking area, Running WaterCons – Very old building, Expensive drinks, Far away location
