Large, clean, quiet room. The hotel staff were all very helpful and pleasant. Location does not offer almost any nearby restaurants or pubs. The onsite restaurant and bar was not the best, however the staff more than made up for the food. We stayed here one night at the end of July before flying to Europe. A very pleasant smoking room (rare to find these days in Nashville!) and spotlessly clean with a decent bathroom and basic toiletries which were all that were needed before our flight. Front desk clerks were helpful and friendly Buffet breakfast was perfectly acceptable; just a shame…
I recently arranged for a group to stay at this hotel which is not very far from the airport. The hotel does offer many amenities including a shuttle service to the airport, meeting rooms, a full complimentary breakfast bar, wireless internet, etc. The staff is outstanding in that they do their best to accomodate everyone as best as they can. The rooms are nice, roomy and clean. The front desk is chock full of information: restaurant suggestions, directions, recommendations, problem-solving, etc. My only disappointment was that the “business center” consists of a lonely computer which has so much security on it, it is somewhat difficult to use. Anything printed comes from the printer at the front desk. When I needed copies, I was given directions to a FedEx Office store a couple of miles away. Other than that, we were made to feel welcome and served very well. This is an excellent choice for those who do not need to be in the downtown Nashville area.Pros + great price, nice
The Marriott Nashville Airport is a notch above the regular Marriotts that line the highways, probably because it caters to business travelers and to Opryland visitors.
