Where is the Best After-Work Bar in Minneapolis, Minnesota?
This place is a far cry from the Uptown location. Happy hour/lunch time is OK, but the food is overpriced and so are the drinks. At night, stay out if you are not a pedofile or a teenager. The drinks are really expensive (even their specials are not great) and it is so loud your ears ring when you leave. No, I’m not 70 years old, but this place is not appropriate for a group of 20 somethings out to dance and have a good time. The dance floor is so crowded with crusty teens that it is impossible to move, and you stick to the floor anyway.Go somewhere else if you want to talk to the people you are out with, and not get trampled by 18 year olds.Pros + Good happy hour spotCons – bad service, pricy drinks, crowded
First impression of the restaurant were good. Busy, with a lively atmosphere.Couple of things to point out: Good selection of beers.,but beware; tap beers only come in a small glass. The glass sizes resemble a European 1/2 pint.We enjoyed the food, and the portions were quite big. HOWEVER, i would have to say that i have never experienced service like this in my life.It took 10minutes after being seated before we had a drinks order taken and a further 10 before our food order. We received the bill from our server without being asked if we wished any desserts or coffees and also before she had even cleared our table.Lastnight was the first time i had never left a gratuity for my server. By the conversations we could hear by our near by tables; they were also disgusted by her service.Overall: Good food. Terrible service.Pros + Good Beer Selection, Well PricedCons – Terrible Service
