This place is definitely one of a kind. Tucked away in a small shopping center, with no parking, this place is certainly worth walking a few blocks to from your car. Highlighting the hip and cool ambience is this wrap-around the wall fish tank with columns that pass through the wall that the fish can swim up. Cool blue lighting completes the scene. The menu is filled with comfort foods and good hearty choices. My meal, the blue cheese burger was phenominal. Just a tad over cooked though. Overall a very nice experience and I will be rushing back to Marshalls.

I went to M on my birthday. We loved the decor, the food was very good (the crab cake appetizer – excellent) and service also very good. One bad thing – we got stuck with the table by the front door. Not that there was a draft or excessive noise but I did a walk around and noticed better/more private seating in the back. Lesson 1 – when making reservations ask for a table in the back. Also, M is located in the lobby of an office building and the restaurant bathrooms are in the lobby of the office building – they were clean but I thought that was weird.Pros + Ambiance, Service, FoodCons – expensive

Visting for business and the Ohio State game I ended up staying up on South High at the Westin. After checking in on Thursday night and after being thoroughly turned off by the Westin hotel bar/restaurant, I went walk-about on High street. Nothing to the left of High, nothing on the right. A beacon shined bright in the distance: A standalone building and a small bar tucked underneath the sign for “Castle Bail Bonds”. Ahead of me walking in were some suits, some folks walking off the construction site next door, and what looked like some college kids. It looked like my kind of place from the start. Talk about a friendly place. I think I had my first beer on the deck before I even said hello. The bartender Kristin (with an “i”) was a sweet, down-to-earth, funny, and hard-working bartender (did I say cute too). She made sure everyone was getting what they needed and were having a good time. “Syracuse” Jimmy, the owner, calls it a “neighborhood bar with no neighborhood” and he’s right on.
