Where is the Best After-Work Bar in Cincinnati, Ohio?
We ordered a suit to be custom made and the pants needed some revision. They refused to make it right and told us that they would not do anything more to fix the problem. When asked if we could speak to the manager, the salesman told us flatly “no”. The salesman asked if we thought we knew more about this than he did and how would we know if the pants looked right or not. The salesman raised his hand in our face and said that he was done working on the suit. None of the other employees we spoke to (including an owner) seemed concerned with this behavior. In fact, they all copied the salesman’s behavior. We told them that we were shocked by this treatment and had never been treated this way by any store in our lives. We were planning on ordering a second suit in a few months but the store does not care to build or maintain relationships. We got our money refunded, which they didn’t want to do initially, but we can’t get a refund on all the time we spent. Cons – Extremely rud
The restaurant is right on Fountain Square which is pretty cool. We made reservations for 12 people as we had family in from out of town. They obviously were not ready for us as the waiter at first was going to seat us in two tables. They quickly put two tables together for us. There really is a lot to choose from on the menu and a good variety of their beers. Almost everyone was very happy with their food. They have a great sampler as a appetizer. The only problem we had was that they did not have all the food ready at one time. Four people were served and the rest of us sat and watched them eat. Then they brought over maybe four more servings. And later the rest of us were served. The waiter said he was going to talk to the manager. I understand it was a big party; but they are in the business and should be able to handle that. Other than that it’s a nice chain restaurant.Pros + LocationCons – Management
My husband and I tried Chez Nora recently and I must say I was disappointed. We went after 3:00 yet before 5:00 so we were limited to sandwiches and salads. The prices were steep and didn’t align with the food. The food didn’t taste fresh, therefore, I picked over my food, basically wasting the majority of it. I then went on to take another chance and tried the desert and much to my surprise, the desert was worst than the food. I was upset at how much we spent on our meal and yet was so extremely dissatisfied with the experience. It was our first time eating at Chez Nora and I’m pretty sure it will be our last time. The service was the most decent thing we experienced. It wasn’t A -1 service but it wasn’t that bad either.I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone I know.Cons – Limited parking, pricey menu, food didn’t taste fresh
