Where is the Best After-Work Bar in Atlanta, Georgia?
I went to Brickstore long before I was legal to drink. The food was consistently good and the staff was congenial, even though I wasn’t there to drink. Everything from their appetizers to main courses are always tasty. The wait can be long on weekends because it’s a relatively small restaurant. I would recommend going for lunch, if possible. The wait is a lot shorter and you can still enjoy a beer and some great food. I went to Agnes Scott and we’d go for a random evening out for a beer and some good food. Definitely one of my favorite places in Dectaur even though I’ve long since graduated and moved on.Pros + Great food and big beer selectionCons – Can wait over an hour for a table
I first came to this pub about 2 years ago… I enjoyed the fact that they had a great ambience… a fireplace, and a dark wood dining room/bar… the atmosphere is cozy but the food, I believe could be a bit more authentic for the cost of the meals. You can’t leave without spending at least 30-$40 and sometimes you feel like you’re being ignored. If you go and want a hearty meal, try the bangers and mash… or the shepards pie. Pros + nice ambience….Cons – slow service…
