Park Tavern has come a long way in the 10 years it’s been in Atlanta. I started hanging out there when I was living in VaHi and always could count on great beer and fabulous people watching. I’ve seen amazing concerts there over the years, been to weddings that rivaled anything at a luxury hotel and have been pleased to see the quality of food & general atmoshphere grow along with my personal tastes. The entire restaurant is so pretty now– they’ve redone the bathrooms in marble, the firelpaces are warm and cozy, I love the stone and wood beam feel. The landscaping is really nice and I hear they’ve done a lot of “green” things like putting in a cistern and solar panels. The SUSHI is HANDS DOWN- the BEST in the city. The sushi chef took the time to explain to me all about the fish— which is flown in daily from Honolulu– pretty darn fresh! Surprising to find such amazing sushi in a non-Japanese restaurant. In fact, Park Tavern does a great job breaking the mold on all “types” of genre

I have been to alot of bars in the ATL and this is by FAR the best bar in the whole city! Not only is the owner HOT (i love you steve!) but the bartenders are amazing! They know you by name and drink (yes please!) and the laidback atmosphere reminds me of college! Not to mention the amount of guys that show up on the weekend! If you are looking a great place to drink a beer, watch the game, and listen to your favorite songs on the jukebox, then RED DOOR is the place for you! Pros + Awesome bartenders, cheap drinks, TOWER OF POWER…just ask!Cons – Nothing…this place is the shiz!

My experience with Highland Cigar Co. comes from an avid cigar smoker (myself)! I believe in writing my own 1st hand accounts of places.I happened upon this establishment after a HORRIBLE experience with another cigar club (it shall remain nameless – they know who they are and how they treat PAID members). I was told by a friend to give Highland Cigar a try. I said why not… its worth a try.Upon my 1st day I was greeted by Rob and Brian (owners). Each one took the time out to talk to me and my wife and make us feel at home. Since then I have become a regular paid member at Highland. Last night they held an event with CAO cigars. It was phenomenal! Each day is a different “theme” day at Highland. From Poker Nite (no playing for money), to Movie Night (Godfather II was excellent), and even Ladies Night (Class is taught to women on cigars). It?s a great time. We ended up playing poker for a while as the drinks were flowing. Now, Highland is more than a Cigar Company, it?s a ful

It’s rare to find a place that feels like a home away from home, but this is it. You can grab a cigar, get lost in one of the comfortable couches, and strike up a conversation with one of the many friendly patrons that frequents this great place. If you’re in town on business and love cigars, this is a great escape from the hotel–you can count on being able to walk in and relax in front of a tv, watch the game, and enjoy a great smoke. There’s free wi-fi available, and on any given afternoon, you can walk into a relaxing environment, set up your laptop, and get to work with a cigar in one hand and a glass of wine nearby. You can’t beat it. Owner Fred promotes a friendly atmosphere and knows his cigars! For example, I told him the three cigars I loved most, and his suggestion for the day was right on the money for my tastes. Incredible. He’s also got a great selection of beer and wine. It’s a good place to sit down and try something new. It’s in a great area with plenty of places

I have tried a lot of Pan Asian/Sushi restaurants in the area, and STEEL IS THE BEST!The food is fresh and different, always a pleasing surprise to the palette. The cascading waterfall that ends in a pool, surrounded by comfortable seating is the focal point in this fine dining establishment. The bar is a great place to go on for Wednseday night happy hour specials featuring $5 drinks and complimentary sushi. The service is professional and helpful. Parking is free and literally around the corner. I really enjoy the Bento boxes for lunch. You get a really nice assortment of food with enough left over to save for an early evening snack! For $2 you can get Miso or Hot & Sour soup added on, which is great for when the weather gets a little chilly or rainy. They also have great noodle dishes for only $9. The portions are huge, so there are always leftovers…mmm mmm GOOD!After work I stop by and enjoy a drink at the bar. It’s usually filled with young professionals all looking to
