I called Jennifer on a whim – I was having a bad hair day, and the last person I went to did not get the color that I was hoping for. Her idea of blonde was just straight bleach – one shade! Blondes are hard to color, and Jennifer did a FANTASTIC job. I was open to a new hair style, and she delivered a great new cut for me too. I am a SAHM, and she took that into account – I basically get “Dressed” for mommy clubs, and date night with my husband – carpool does not count… My usual style involves some sort of a ponytail, and she left it long enough to still put it up if I need to.My sister-in-law went on and on about how great I looked when we all went out Saturday night. Of course my husband liked it, but the big kudos came from my 7rd. old daughter – “Wow Mommy, you look so pretty”! Jennifer did a great job, and I’ll definately be going back! Jessica, the new aesthetician is amazingly skilled. My facial was everything a facial should be – targeted to my specific skin care needs (yes, she actually asked), calming, rejuvenating. The products are great but the magic is in Jessica’s technique. Just the right amount of pressure in smooth, repetitive motions is oh-so relaxing with special attention to the temples, forhead and jaw where we all hold tension. Her abundant use of hot, steamy towels makes you feel totally decadent . While your mask does its work, she moisturizes your hands, arms, shoulders by rubbing in a creamy lotion to complete your relaxation. The space is lovely – quiet and serene. Jessica is warm and personable but so respectful of the client’s privacy needs allowing you to enjoy the peace, quiet, and stillness after the facial. I highly recommend hair stylist Emily Hatfield for a haircut and/or color. Finally, after 5 years of being in the Austin area, I have found a true expert and professional in the hair industry. I have long, straight, heavy hair; that I find sometimes, female stylists have a hard time handling. I’m typically open to whatever hair cutting technique the stylist wants to use, as long as they ‘keep the length’ 😉 …but extremely picky when choosing color …having dark brown hair, it’s easy to look like a zebra. Emily immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease with her warm, yet outgoing personality, and vast knowledge of hair color and care products. I loved that I could leave so much of the decision making up to her, and came out looking like a million bucks.
