Where is the BCIT Mathematics Competency Test available?
Generally, the BCIT Mathematics Competency Test is available only at the Burnaby Campus of BCIT. Candidates should present themelves at my office, SW2-231, at the time of their appointment. In very special circumstances, arrangements can be made for you to write the test at some remote location. This option is approved only rarely, and would be used when travel to Burnaby to write the test would involve some extraordinary difficulty and/or expense. Unless you can come up with an absolutely compelling reason to the contrary, we will generally not agree to arranging a test at a remote location until you have submitted a formal application for admission to BCIT, and until you have acquired and are able to provide a copy of a completed “Request to Write the BCIT Mathematics Competency Test.” Our reluctance to arrange such tests is due in part to the extra time it takes to make all the arrangements and to the fact that in recent years, most of the people requesting to write the test at a re
