The battery is located under the cover immediately behind the Head lamp assembly remove the three screws that secure the cover and push the 4 tabs on the heat sink looking with the cords running from it. (I have no idea what this is does)you can now remove this larger cover to reveal the battery the tighest space I have ever seen in a GM.
