Where is the backlight on an IBM ThinkPad A31p?

Where is the backlight on an IBM A31p and where does one get a replacement? My IBM ThinkPad A31p 2653-R5U display stopped working. If I put a light to the display, I can see it is working very faintly. Googling, I find this is a classic symptom of a dead backlight although I see in the goolled articles it might be a bad inverter or flat cable causing the backlight to not get the high voltage it needs to light up. Two main questions: 1. Where do I get a new backlight? 2. Where IS this backlight? (How do I get to it)? For the first question, I tried JKL Lamps but they don’t ocver the A31p. http://www.jkllamps.com/index.cfm?ac…m&tid=2&fID=45 For the second question, I googled for instructions specific to the IBM A31p display backlight repair and replace. The best I found were these. http://iantha.vectorstar.net/ccfl.html http://www.techno-mart.co.uk/backlig…b_problems.htm But neither showed the R&R procedure for an IBM ThinkPad A31p backlight.
