Where Is St Patricks Cathedral In East Melbourne?
It is on the Eastern Hill Site in Melbourne where you will find the St Patrick’s Cathedral. The cathedral is renowned in the world because of its architecture; it is considered as a prominent example of the Gothic Revival style, a well-known style of architecture. The cathedral has its history at par with that of Melbourne; the cathedral was founded only twelve yeas after the foundation of the city of Melbourne. After the foundation of the city it was felt that the spiritual needs of the area must be fulfilled and keeping in mind that motive the colonial secretary of Victoria allotted a bock of land to the Roman Catholic Church.
