Norwood is a village located in the Peterborough County in the state of Ontario in Canada. It is a part of the Asphodel Township since 1998 and is known as Asphodel-Norwood. This place has a population of 1300 residents as per the census taken in the year 2003. This village has three schools named St Paul’s Catholic Elementary School, Norwood District Public School and Norwood Intermediate Public School. The Three Days Grace, a popular metal band once lived in Norwood. Later on they shifted to Toronto where they got success and fame. This place hosts a Thanksgiving fair every year and is known as Norwood Thanksgiving fair. It consists of talent and agricultural competitions. Highway 7 and Norwood airport are the means of transportation in the village of Norwood.
