North Solihull is located on the eastern edge of Birmingham within the West Midlands. The 3 wards of the regeneration area are Chelmsley Wood, Smith’s Wood, Kingshurst & Fordbridge were created close to Birmingham International Airport. Approx 40,000 residents live in the area and it forms part of the larger Metropolitan Borough of Solihull which itself has a population of 200,400.
