Nitrogen Is mainly obtained by frm FRACTINAL DISTILLATION OF AIR….in dis process da GASEOUS AIR is first releasd into a region of low pressure(thru a small nozel) frm a region of very high pressure….dis causes the temperatue to fall down drastically n da air liquefies……now at da temp of -196 degeree C…da nitrogen part of da mixture turn into gas agn n is released out….(this hapes coz differnt constituents of air hav diff boilin pnt) ehile da othr havin diff boilin pnt stays behind….dis way its obtained n stored fr further use……hpe dis resolvs ur query..
