Where is my Discover Card accepted outside of the U.S.?
Cards are currently accepted in Canada, Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean, and China. You can use your card everywhere Discover Network Cards are accepted. If a decal displaying the Discover Network acceptance mark is not visible, you may still present your card for payment if the merchant accepts cards. Some merchants (primarily hotels) don’t always display acceptance decals.
Discover cards are currently accepted in multiple countries around the world through the Discover Network and our Network partnerships: • China Union Pay • JCB • Diners Club International Please visit our Country Acceptance Map to select your travel destination from a full list of countries where Discover is accepted. When you select a country or region on the map, information such as Network acceptance for both purchases and cash advances in that location will be provided. If a decal displaying the Discover, China UnionPay, JCB or Diners Club International acceptance mark is not visible, you may still present your card for payment if the merchant accepts credit cards.
