Located in the Central Pacific Region and due South as viewed on a map from the capital city of San Jose. The sandy Public Beach stretches for about one-half mile. Also Manuel Antonio National Park and Manuel Antonio Public Beach are right next to each other and often becomes lumped together. Please refer to MAP of the MAIN ROAD.Remember the songs “Time in a bottle”, “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown” and “And you don’t mess around with Jim”. Jim Croce, singer and songwriter when he was alive made his summer home about 1 mile from Manuel Antonio Public Beach.
