WHERE IS LOMPOC, California?
Our beautiful LOMPOC VALLEY is located on scenic Pacific Coast Highway (Hwy 1) and Highway 246, about 50 miles northwest of Santa Barbara and 155 miles northwest of Los Angeles. Our Valley is part of the Central California Coastal Region, long valued for its Fertile Farmland and gaining recognition for its Vineyards and Wineries. Surely you saw “Sideways”! Lompoc is situated 88 feet above sea level and is surrounded on the north, south and east by rolling hills. The level valley is open to the Pacific Coastline nine miles west of the community at Surf Beach. You should know one thing before visiting Lompoc: If you want to stay on the right side of the locals, pronounce it Lom-poke.
