No Lake Ladoga that I know of but, there is a Lake lagunita near Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. Is the spelling correct or is the source of information unofficially naming the lake? Lake Lagunita is an artificial lake in Stanford University, California. Located on the western side of the Stanford campus near the Lagunita residences, the lake dries up during the summer. During winters with normal rainfall, the lake is filled by diversion from San Francisquito Creek to a three-meter depth, allowing recreational use by students. The true Lake Ladoga is a freshwater lake located in Republic of Karelia and Leningrad Oblast in northwestern Russia, not far from Saint Petersburg. It is the largest lake in Europe, and the 14th largest lake by area in the world. See the links below for additional information. Hope this helps.
