Phuket is really an island of two halves, the West Coast and the East Coast. The West Coast has all of the white sandy beaches, and that is where Kamala Beach is found. Kamala is also only a 10 minute ride away from “Patong”, the main tourist town on Phuket. The East Coast is equally as beautiful, but in the main, without any beaches.
