Where is Jharkhand Going?
The purpose for which the state of Jharkhand was created has proved futile. During the last three years the BJP-led coalition Government of the state has showed no development and has failed in giving direction to developmental work. There are discouraging signs in economic, industry, education, irrigation, energy and health areas. The law and order situation in the state has deteriorated. During the formation of the state only two districts were effected by extremists but now 18 out of 22 districts are under their influence.
