Where is jeju island south korean on a map?
Jeju (the older Romanization was “Cheju”) is south of the peninsula. It is a beautiful, semi-tropical island with the central peak being Mount Halla, an extinct volcano. Your problem with finding the location could be the recent changes in transforming Korean Hangul characters into Roman characters; I personally feel that the “experts” have made things worst by no longer using the Wade-Giles method.
