Where is Iran?
Iran is a very important country for the World Peace because around it are located: Iraq (occupied by the USA and the allied forces) to the West Turkey (a member of NATO) on the northwest Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan (Central Asia, former Soviet Union) in the north Afghanistan (occupied by USA) in the northeast Pakistan (allied with USA in the war on terror, the country where there is no leader, the country where in recent days, Benazir was killed), on the southeast. The Persian Gulf (presently being called Arabian Gulf, across which are located Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi etc), Qatar, Kuwait (remember Operation Desert Storm!). Unfortunately Iran is located in the region from where the life line of the capitalist economy, the crude oil, passes. This area is called “the Middle East”.
