ASLRP funds are recouped pursuant to DOJ 2030.3C, “Collection of Debts by the Department of Justice.” The ASLRP Administration Panel reviews waiver requests and makes a recommendation to the deciding official. The authority to resolve ASLRP waivers is held by the Justice Management Division and is not delegated to the individual Offices, Boards, Bureaus or Divisions. The Department may waive, in whole or in part, recovery of ASLRP funds if it is determined to be against equity and good conscience or contrary to the public interest.
