Where is Hetch Hetchy?
The Hetch Hetchy Valley is on the Tuolumne River downstream from Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite National Park. It is 15 miles north of Yosemite Valley. The Valley was dammed by San Francisco, as a result of the Raker Act passed by Congress in 1913. The dam is called O’Shaughnessy Dam. • Who is Restore Hetch Hetchy?
