Grand Manan Island is located in the south end of the Bay of Fundy, twenty-five miles from the coastline of New Brunswick, Canada and six miles from the shoreline of the State Maine, United States. The Island is Canadian, and can be reached by plane or by ferry. Occasionally whales can be seen during the ferry ride to and from Grand Manan.
