What exists today in Gaza is as close as it’s gotten. The hatred for Jews and the state of Israel is such that the Palestinians will deny their people their own self-governed country. They have to attack Israel with rockets and suicide bombers until Israel retaliates, which is happening again today. A similar situation exists in Lebanon. Groups funded and manned by Iranians and Syrians attack Israel and have prevented the Lebanese government from functioning for a number of years. I feel we can only pray these people find peace. They destabilize the whole world.
Well the Gaza Strip is an area in Israel, that’s basically designated for the Palestinians who have been kicked out of their homes in other parts of Israel for the past 50 years by Israeli ‘settlers’. Hamas is a political/terrorist (depending on who you are, Palestinian, or American :P) group, and therefore not a physical place… If you’re interested in the details, read it up on wikipedia.
