Alliance Francaise already exists in almost 40 states. Those with more than one chapter are Alabama, Arizona, Montana, and Rhode Island with two each; New Jersey, North Carolina, and Tennessee with three each; Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, New York, South Carolina, and Virginia with four each; Connecticut and Ohio with five each; Michigan with six; Texas with seven; Pennsylvania with eight; Florida with nine; and California with twelve.
