Where is fiction located in the library?
Works of fiction are assigned call numbers (rather than shelved by the author’s last name) along with other works of literature (poetry, plays, etc.) in the Ps on Level L-3 of the Library. All of an author’s literary writings are shelved together, as well as letters, biographies and critical studies. The P classification is subdivided by national literature and by time period.
