Where is everybody staying? Is there an official or host hotel?
Everybody seems to agree that it would be a good thing if we would have the majority of our people staying at one or two places. This year we are recommending the Imperial Palace and the Sahara for DLV attendees. Both are known to be t-friendly with reasonable rates. As always, everybody is free to stay anywhere they choose, if they wish. Some of the people attending visit Las Vegas frequently and have their own favorite places to stay. Discussion of the various accommodations occurs in the Diva Las Vegas Mailing List. In the past, our people have stayed at Riviera, Stardust, Bally’s, Imperial Palace, Sahara, Westward Ho, Circus-Circus, Excalibur, Frontier, Blair House, and some of the smaller places, all without incident. Within the GLBT community, the Riviera, Sahara, and Tropicana are reputed to be the most GLBT-friendly of the major hotels.
