Where Is Ellipse?
The Ellipse is another name given to the President’s Park South which is located in Washington, DC. This is a 210,000 m² or a 52 acre park that is situated just to the south of the White House. In actuality Ellipse is the title given to the one kilometer path which runs within the park. One of the good things about this park is that it is open to everyone. Some of the attractions that lie within the part are the Charles Bulfinch Gatehouses, Boy Scout Memorial, National Christmas Tree, Zero Milestone and many more structures of relative importance. The Easter Egg Roll, the Twilight Tattoo and the Christmas Pageant of Peace are annual events that are held on the Ellipse and are witness to the collection of many a hundred people.
