East Anglia is a region situated in eastern England. East Anglia got its name from ancient Anglo-Saxon Kingdoms. The kingdom comprised of Norfolk and Suffolk but the region had vague boundaries. Some of the regions are distinguished by their uniformity, which consist of fenland and reclaimed marshland, though most of Suffolk and certain areas of Norfolks are mild rolling areas. East Angila also makes a part of East of England administrative region. Farming and horticulture has been a flourishing occupation here, and is suitable for the fertile soil of this region. This region has been seriously influenced by Dutch technology, from the arrival of clay plantiles to the draining of fens. The Royal Air Force built many airfields for the duration of World War II and some of these are still in operation.
