Where is DreamSpark available?
We are initially launching in 11 countries, targeting millions of students in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, China, Germany, France, Finland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Belgium. If your country isn’t listed, don’t worry, just stay tuned as we continue to add more locations. By 2009, we expect to have DreamSpark available to virtually ALL students around the world. DreamSpark is available to millions of college/university students around the world. The list of countries can be viewed during the student verification process. If you are not residing in one of the countries listed, keep checking back as we will be adding more countries throughout the year. What do I need in order to access, download, and use the Microsoft software I get on DreamSpark? Only what you probably already have: * A PC with a Windows OS * An Internet connection (broadband suggested) * An Internet browser * A Windows Live ID account Your student ID credentials (e.g. username and password) provided by your school or organization that can verify that you are a studentin most cases this is your college/university or a commercial student identity provider.
