Where is Digital Thermo Mammography Performed?
Thermography is done be a licensed physician with proper training in Thermography. State of the art equipments used to detect subtle change in temperature. This is done in a controlled setting free of sun light with temperature and humidity controlled. Room is maintained between 18-22 C. Clients are prepared for 15 minutes to acclimate to the room temperature. Room temperature is maintained to avoid more than 1C fluctuation. The client sits disrobed, hands supported over her head for a five-minute equilibration period. Imaging is then performed, consisting of four views – one anterior, one undersurface, and two laterals -which are taken, interpreted, and stored as digital media in a process that takes only few minutes for each view.
